There were plastic and glass Valentine’s vases in the front of the store, but they looked plain. Surely, we could decorate them so they looked cuter.

To get started you need the following supplies from the Dollar Tree:

  • Styrofoam circle
  • Burlap ribbon (I used 1 and a half)
  • Foam stickers
  • Alphabet stickers

You also need a glue gun and glue sticks to fix the ribbon to the styrofoam circle.

Step 1: Put a big dab of glue on the circle with the glue gun. Be careful because the glue will be hot! I’m used to working with glue guns, but you might want to wear gloves for protection.

Step 2: Start wrapping the burlap ribbon around the circle very tightly. This burlap ribbon I picked up has wires on the edges so it is easier to manipulate.

Step 3: Once the circle is wrapped up, dab more glue to close it. You will need a 2nd roll of burlap ribbon.

Step 4: Tie a bow with the burlap ribbon and glue it to the top of the wreath.
