Takeaway Delivery

Is Chinese takeaway healthy?

Once in a while, and then we don’t count Chinese takeaway calories. Why not!

What type of takeaways do you find around where you live?

Since I live in a mainly British expat neighbourhood, I can find quite a nice selection of takeaways here. There isa Chinese takeaway near me but also Indian, Thai, pizza, burgers.Even fish and chips!

And from what I have heard it is delicious.

I love fish and chips.

Pizza

But I have to be quite honest here with you.

I have never really ordered a Chinese takeaway box over the phone or online. Not even a pizza. I always keep 2 frozen Oetker pizzas in my freezer at all times, just in case.

They really come in handy at times, believe me!

Have you ever had a Chinese takeaway delivery at home?

Classic Stir Fry

As tired as I sometimes was at times after a hard and long day’s work, somehow I would still seem to find the courage to cook something up. Even a simple fried egg and beans on toast if necessary.

Just anything.

So what was my favorite 10-minute dinner back then when I still worked at the office?

A good old and quick stir fry!

With the usual noodles, fresh vegetables and lots of oyster sauce of course. Just because I always have those ingredients in my fridge and pantry. So I would still put a wok on the stove, heat up a little oil.

Chop up some veg ninja style, add some noodles and oyster sauce.

Done.
