Do You Know Where Those Photos of Your Naughty Bits Are?

One thing women (and likely men) don’t think about when they contribute naughty photos of themselves to another site is the distribution of those photos. I don’t mean the obvious – someone views the photo on the site and copies it for themselves. But, what happens when the database of the site is hacked and someone takes all those photos. Now it’s not an individual person, it’s a business. Your photo could turn up anywhere online, or in print, or other offline locations.

I added photos to Voyeurweb and then gave up on using the site because I couldn’t figure out how to load more photos or anything else. Who needs the frustration I decided, so I left and didn’t think about them again. Today, I have an email telling me the Voyeurweb site was taken over my someone else and the database was moved to Voyeurcloud now. I went to Voyeurcloud, it looks a lot like Voyeruweb. Then I went to Voyeurweb and read a note about how their database was hacked and all the content taken – but they were happy to report they were able to reload it all.

So, how many different sites now have the photos I originally contributed to Voyeurweb… Far more than I gave permission to use my photos.
